How to earn the friend bonus
- Copy your link. Open Phone → Invite. The Bring a friend card uses the same link as your house: the game's address, then
/v/and your @name. Tap Copy link, or Share on a phone. - Your friend opens it and makes a character. It has to be their first ever character, made in the same tab they opened the link in.
- They find a job. Phone → Jobs → Apply. Any career counts, and applying has no requirements.
- They save their life with an email. Phone → Settings → 💾 Keep this life on any device, then the code from the email. Steps 3 and 4 can happen in either order.
- You're both paid. The moment the second step is done, ₦5,000 goes to them and ₦15,000 to you, straight into each Welcome fund.
₦15,000 is about 2 shifts of the lowest first-rung job (Skit Maker, ₦8,700 a shift). The friend bonus is extra money: no goal or promotion ever needs an invite.
Following your invites
The Bring a friend card keeps count under the link:
- Joined: people who started their first life from your link.
- Bonuses: friends who finished both steps and paid you a bonus.
- Earned: everything your link has paid you so far.
When a friend qualifies, a toast says Your invite paid off, even if it happened while you were away. The Bank history lists each one with 🤝 and the friend's @name.
Your friend sees the bonus too: a 🤝 line under the goal card says which step is left, and the phone's lock screen spells out both. When it pays they get a Friend bonus collected toast.
What the bonus buys
Both bonuses go into the Welcome fund in Phone → Bank, next to your Spendable money. The game spends the Welcome fund first whenever you pay, so you never have to choose.

The rules
- Only new players count: someone whose account has never had a character.
- Each friend has one inviter: the first link they started from.
- Your friend has 30 days from making their character to finish both steps.
- Each email earns a friend bonus once, ever.
- You can collect up to 30 bonuses a Lagos day (₦450,000). After that, friends who qualify that day are still paid; your bonus for them is not.
- There is no lifetime limit.
- The amounts can change. The Bring a friend card always shows the ones in force. If it says “Friend bonuses are on hold right now”, bonuses are switched off for a while and anything that qualifies meanwhile is not paid later.

Questions
Does my friend have to play for a long time?
No. Two things count: finding a job (Phone → Jobs → Apply) and saving their life with an email. Both can be done in their first few minutes, in either order.
Can an existing player use my link to get the bonus?
No. The link only counts for someone making their first ever character. A player who already has a life, or had one before, just knocks on your door as a normal visitor.
Is there a limit to how many friends I can invite?
There is no lifetime limit. You can collect up to 30 bonuses a Lagos day; friends who qualify after that are still paid their ₦5,000, but that day’s extra bonuses for you are not carried over.
Can I invite myself with a second account?
It won’t pay twice. Each email can earn a friend bonus once, ever, even if the account is deleted and made again.
Can I send my bonus to someone or bet with it?
No. The bonus lands in your Welcome fund. It buys almost anything in Agege, but it cannot be sent to another player, staked at Jara Bets or the casino wheel, locked in a fixed deposit or spent on a car.
Do I need to invite friends to get ahead?
No. The friend bonus is extra. No goal, promotion or place in the game needs an invite.
What does “Friend bonuses are on hold right now” mean?
Friend bonuses are switched off for a while. A friend who qualifies during the pause is not paid later, so wait until the Invite app shows the normal line again before you share.
