"A working day" is the day's money before the driver. "Average a day" takes off the driver and counts the breakdown days and their repairs. "Pays back" is the price divided by the average day, before tax.
| Vehicle | Price | A working day | Driver a day | Breaks down | Average a day | Pays back |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 🚐 Danfo bus Passengers, Abule Egba to Ikeja Along. Fourteen seats, a sliding door that never closes, and a conductor who knows every stop by heart. | ₦6,000,000 | ₦35,000–₦80,000 | ₦8,000 | 1 day in 13 | ₦35,940 | 167 days |
| 🚛 Tipper Sand from Ijoko to building sites. Ten tonnes of sharp sand a trip. Every new estate on the edge of town needs you. | ₦18,000,000 | ₦80,000–₦210,000 | ₦15,000 | 1 day in 14 | ₦99,900 | 180 days |
| 🚚 Trailer Containers on the Apapa run. A tractor unit and a flatbed carrying one forty-foot container from the port at a time. | ₦60,000,000 | ₦240,000–₦620,000 | ₦35,000 | 1 day in 17 | ₦299,300 | 200 days |
The days are real days on Lagos time. Any single week can be well above or below the average.

Buying a vehicle
- Open Phone → Invest and tap Vehicles. Each card turns the vehicle round and lists its work, price, day's money, driver and breakdowns.
- Tap Buy. The confirm screen shows the price and what is left in your balance.
- Tap Buy again. The card says when the first pay comes: today at 6 PM if you bought before then, otherwise tomorrow.
You can own one of each vehicle. They sit beside your businesses in the Invest app and are paid at the same time.
The evening pay and the driver
Every evening at 6 PM each vehicle earns a random amount in its range. The driver's daily wage comes off it, and the rest is yours. The card shows "Last evening ₦… after the driver's ₦…" and its all-time total; the Bank shows the pay and the driver's wage as two lines.
- Tax: what the driver leaves is taxed with your wages and business payouts once the week passes ₦400,000.
- Away a week: like a business, a vehicle earns nothing after 7 days without you opening the game. Come back and it works again.
Breakdowns and repairs
Some days a vehicle breaks down. That day pays nothing and the driver is not paid, and a repair bill is taken from your balance at once. The card says why, for example: "The clutch gave up at Abule Egba bridge. Towed to the mechanic."
| Vehicle | Breaks down | Repair |
|---|---|---|
| 🚐 Danfo bus | 8% (1 day in 13) | ₦60,000–₦180,000 |
| 🚛 Tipper | 7% (1 day in 14) | ₦150,000–₦450,000 |
| 🚚 Trailer | 6% (1 day in 17) | ₦800,000–₦1,600,000 |
If your balance cannot cover the repair, the vehicle is parked: "Parked · repair ₦…". It earns nothing, for as many evenings as it waits. Tap Pay repair and it is back on the road from the next evening. A parked vehicle cannot be sold until the repair is paid.

Payback next to businesses
Each vehicle pays back in about the time of the businesses priced either side of it. It earns more a day than a shop, but the driver and the repairs take their share.
| Vehicle | Price | Pays back | Businesses priced around it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🚐 Danfo bus | ₦6,000,000 | 167 days | 🧵 Tailoring Shop (₦3,200,000): 156 days; 🚐 Danfo on the Oshodi Route (₦9,500,000): 176 days |
| 🚛 Tipper | ₦18,000,000 | 180 days | 🚐 Danfo on the Oshodi Route (₦9,500,000): 176 days; 🧊 Cold Room & Frozen Foods (₦24,000,000): 189 days |
| 🚚 Trailer | ₦60,000,000 | 200 days | 🧊 Cold Room & Frozen Foods (₦24,000,000): 189 days; ⛽ Fuel Station Share (20%) (₦110,000,000): 229 days |
A vehicle is a choice for the late game: the danfo bus costs ₦6,000,000. Buy the cheaper businesses first, since they pay back faster; then pick a vehicle or the next business by price.
Selling a vehicle
Tap Sell on a vehicle you own and confirm. You get 55% of its price at once, and it stops earning. You can buy the same vehicle again later at full price.
| Vehicle | Price | Sells for |
|---|---|---|
| 🚐 Danfo bus | ₦6,000,000 | ₦3,300,000 |
| 🚛 Tipper | ₦18,000,000 | ₦9,900,000 |
| 🚚 Trailer | ₦60,000,000 | ₦33,000,000 |
Common mistakes
- Spending every naira on the vehicle and having nothing left for the first repair.
- Leaving a vehicle parked: every evening it waits pays nothing.
- Buying a vehicle before the cheaper businesses that pay back faster.
- Selling to trade up and losing 45% of the price.
- Staying away for 7 days: the vehicle stops earning until you come back.
Save for one with businesses and their payback, compare it with buying land, and plan the week in money and your budget. A car for yourself is a different thing: see cars.
Questions
How do I buy a danfo in Agege Life?
Open Phone → Invest and tap the Vehicles tab. Tap Buy on the danfo bus (₦6,000,000) and confirm. It goes to work that evening if you buy before 6 PM.
How much does a vehicle make?
A working day pays between ₦35,000 and ₦80,000 for the danfo bus, ₦80,000 and ₦210,000 for the tipper, ₦240,000 and ₦620,000 for the trailer, before the driver's wage.
Do I have to hire the driver?
No. Every vehicle comes with its own driver, paid from the day's money each evening: ₦8,000 a day on the danfo bus, ₦15,000 a day on the tipper, ₦35,000 a day on the trailer. On a breakdown day there is no work and no wage.
What happens when a vehicle breaks down?
That day pays nothing and a repair bill is taken from your balance at once. If you cannot cover it, the vehicle is parked and earns nothing until you tap Pay repair.
Can I own two danfos?
No. You can own one of each vehicle, so three at most.
Can I sell a vehicle?
Yes, for 55% of the price, at once. Pay any repair first: a parked vehicle cannot be sold.
Is a working vehicle better than a business?
It pays back in about the same time as the businesses priced around it. It earns more a day, but the driver and the repairs take a share, and a breakdown can park it.
